ZTE Nubia series began with Nubia Z5, which was then followed by Z7, Z9 and so on. The number reached up to Z17. Now is the turn for ZTE Nubia Z18. Nubia is the sub-brand of ZTE, and the release of Z18 now might be to catch up with the calendar number, so that the upcoming models will come with each year passing.

The first ZTE phone belonging to Z18 series is to be called Nubia Z18 mini, for which press invitations have bee sent out already. This phone is expected to come with 24MP dual camera system, and it will be released on 11^th April.

Moreover, this mini version of upcoming flagship Z18 will lack some features, but still it will be relatively more powerful than any mid-range phone, e.g. Nubia V18 phone, which was released about two weeks ago. The launch event will take place in China, and the phone is expected to come with stock Android OS.
