The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 was a platform where all the dominant companies had something to say or reveal, including the ZTE mobiles. The ZTE’s mobile phone brand Nubia will relinquish the Nubia User Interface and it will shift to stock Android for its global smartphones. The major reason of this change is most of the users want faster Android updates and security patches.

As per Greek sources, the Nubia phone will keep its particular user interface only for China, where it will lack Google services as well. The upcoming Nubia phones with the stock Android Oreo will be on the Project Treble, aiming their updates will certainly arrive on time. The Nubia executive said that it will be more convenient for Nubia to manage such software in global devices, because it would keep users happy in Europe and other regions.
