Users who were interested for the child maintenance service were having problems because of the British Telecom.A spokesman from the department of the Work and pensions said that they are suffering from some difficulties due to problems caused by the British Telecom. He further said that they are working with BT to rectify the problem.  There is no reason when it started but when I made calls on Monday there was a failure.

British telecom issue effects the DWP (Department of Work and Pension services)

BT is one of the largest contractors of DWP and received £111m in 2015/16 which is according to the Freedom of Information response to the register

DWP will now breakup its large contracts. British Telecom spokeswoman said that “Few of the DWP phone services are experiencing some problems and we are very sorry for the inconvenience to our customers. Our technical tea is working on it and we are trying to solve is as soon as possible”
