A test has been conducted on iPhone users of 18 to 24 age. The result showed that those with this age with an iPhone by their sides feel much confident and think clear in their cognitive assessment. If the Phone is placed at the opposite corner of the room, the result are likely to get lower.

Research purports that mobile users feel more confident and think clear when cellphones are within reach

Three subjects were allotted two-word search puzzle, with their phones beside them and were told who will find maximum answers in the given time will win. In the middle of the test, they were asked to STOP and place their handsets at the opposite side on room, around the corner, and then resume the search for words. The test found that during the first half each participant found 9 answers on average while after the first half every one managed to find only six answers.

Besides these alleged changes in Confidence and Mental Clarity, it is also found that when their cellphone rings, but could not answer, their blood pressure and heart rate would rise.

DrDr. Russell Clayton from FSU, commented that result shows having your phone every time is not that bad as believe on the contrary. He insisted that the people keep on carrying their phone with them at all times, as long as they curb distractions.
