In the period when everyone is performing tests on Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, Square Trade is attempting to sell these phones on extended warranty. Therefore, it is important to determine how durable these phones are.

The main conclusion in this regard is that Samsung Galaxy S9 is more durable and reliable in comparison of Samsung Galaxy S8 and even the Apple iPhone X. The bad news in this regard is that S9 is still not durable enough to bear two falls, as if fell twice, the phone’s glass will be cracked.

The bend test was also performed by Square Trade and it was found that upon exerting 210lbs of force, S9 bent, while S9+ bent upon the force of 230lbs.

The score for S9 is ‘medium risk’, where as its breakability score is 71. On the other hand, the final score for S9+ is ‘medium high’ where as its score is 76.
