Reports were already ripe that next phone of Samsung Galaxy S series will be released by February this year in the upcoming MWC event of 2018. Samsung has officially confirmed this. The mobile business president of the company Mr. DJ Koh has also revealed in the ongoing CES event that the release date for Samsung Galaxy S9 will be announced in the upcoming trade show to be held in February 2018.

Last year also, the flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus were unveiled in March during a special even where as the sales had started the next month, i.e. in April 2017. The release date must be the same this time round too, i.e. March.
