A new report reveals that Apple is currently working on bringing the touchless gestures and curved screens to its phones, which will be available for the users in the market in the next 2 or 3 years.

As a matter of fact, these panels will actually curve inwards from top side to the bottom side. They will not be curved down at the edges just like that of recent phones by Samsung.

It is still not clear whether Apple is seeking any ergonomic benefit by changing the direction of the curves, or this is just a step to let people not say that Apple simply copied Samsung.

Though there are curves in the OLED panel on the Apple iPhone X’s bottom, but that is not shown to the users. The main purpose in this regard is to make the lower bezel smaller so that the screen drivers are kept under it. Still, Apple’s long-lasting distance for curved displays might be showing its hate for the big-screen displays, which was obvious in the days before the launch of Plus version of Apple iPhone.
