Samsung Z3 re-surfaces with powerful entry-level specs.

Tizen is modestly successful with its first handset Z1. After a number a leaks regarding the next generation of Tizen OS, the device has finally re-surfaced dubbed Z3 and not Z2. It lies in the upper strata of entry-level segments, and roughly accompanies the hardware of S III.

It has a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, which is even bigger than what S III got. The Samsung Z3 packs a quad-core processor running at 1.3GHz via Spreadtrum chipset, with a modest 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It has dual-SIM capability and connectivity options include 3G. Further, it has a lifetime subscription to Mix Radio where you can get over 30 million tracks free of cost.

The camera department it has an 8MP main camera with a 5MP shooter and a 120° wide selfie mode for Selfie Lovers. The Z3 will run the latest version of Tizen, v2.3 and features Ultra Data Saving mode we also have on Android powered Galaxy J2. With this, you can save 50% or more apps (not just the browser), which is great for emerging economies with limited and costly data plans.

The Samsung Z3 will start selling from October 21 in India. The exclusive retailer is Snapdeal for INR 8,500 ($130).
