Sony it is definitely the star of the show this season as it launched a range of high-end to mid-range handsets this MWC 2017. The company leading offer is its Xperia X line up, which launched last year and has continued with brand name this year as well. Sony has now come with the latest and hottest Sony Xperia XZ, which accompanies 4K video capturing capacity. However, it has no 4K display unexpectedly, as Sony might has fought rigorously with transiting 4K resolution it offered in previous flagship.
The display is 5.2-inch IPS LCD where you will find an experience not different from previous Xperias with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. More it’s HDR with Scratch-resistant glass.
However, we were expecting a heftier chipset, while you will find that Sony XZ sufficed to only QUALCOMM Snapdragon 820, which is not an outright disappointment though. This come coupled Quad-core CPU clocked at 2.15 GHz. The graphic department runs Adreno 530. Further, it has 4GB industry leading RAM and 32GB ROM which can expand to a beefy space of 256GB.
Camera department is one step down but still features 4K Videos capability. You will find a 19MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture and includes PADF. Sony XZ’s front facer is 13MP wide angle.
The device holds a beefy powerhouse of 2900mAh, which is non-removable. The handset is scheduled to release on 5 April 2017.
Sony XZ might come in a memory variant of 64GB.
