Undoubtedly, the next in the evolutionary realm of display technology is flexible displays. As per Kolon Industries, which is the biggest supplier of this technology, up to five tech giants are producing this technology and starting its mass production in 2018.

It is believed that, it could thrash the Korean market and will grab 20% market share in 2019. Big companies like Samsung and LG are the supplier of these display technology turning the whole world into more twisted logic of screen.

The company has recently unveiled  that possibly the first foldable device will release next year, will be bend of 5 millimeters against market inclination of 1 millimeter. The latter is more ideal as it will make both display panels to almost touch, as if they are completely folded. Due to safety of screen, company’s usually first use 5mm screens and then go to the lesser.

Kolon is expected to unveil its flexible displays in next year. The Korean tech company has successfully produced tis technology and plans to mass-produce films for around 100 million units of foldable devices in 2018.
