Samsung is currently playing a lot with flexible display technology.  The recent S6 and its Edge variant have specifically been tested for this purpose. Flexible, however, is different but bringing a foldable technology is a real task to take over.

We should soon be witnessing the era of foldable devices.

Samsung has been working on the latter and some impressive prototypes have come forward. It sounds the time has come to reap the benefits of all hard work.  If rumors are found true, Samsung will be the first to create the world’s first foldable-display phone. The project codenamed ‘V’ or ‘Valley’ is under works.

It is now reported at an early stage. The valley metaphor indicates what the Korean aims to achieve. It is still unclear whether Samsung is aiming for one fluent screen all the way, or rather two intertwined, but still flexible screens. A lot of talk on this advancement has been done but still the idea hasn’t gone far enough.
