Conventionally, Apple is known for manufacturing iPhone and other products where each new version or edition comes with a sleeker size. However, the recent trend has become otherwise especially in case of iPhone X.

So far, the thinnest ever iPhone has been the iPhone 6, which was released 4 years ago. As a matter of fact, the latest four editions have become thicker than the iPhone 6, which was just 6.9 mm. In comparison of that, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus had the thickness of 7.1 mm and 7.3 mm, respectively. Moreover, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will now have the thickness of 7.3 mm and 7.5 mm, respectively.

Last comes iPhone X! Its thickness level has gone even higher, i.e. 7.7 mm. Apple might have, for the time being, put a full stop on the sleekness race, and it might have other plans. So let’s hope iPhone X surprises us in other respects at least.
