Apple’s latest devices i.e. iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus supports fast charging, a plus every user wants in his device. Having said that iPhone X can get charged up to 50% in 30 minutes if the battery is completely dead.
Wireless charging is the main feature of the new Apple devices but it doesn’t support charging fast thingy. Fast charge claim goes with USB-C port from where devices could be charged via cable.
Moreover, Apple doesn’t provide fast charging accessories in the packing of iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. USB-C lightning cable and USB-C power adapter has to be purchased separately from the Apple store.
Retail price for lightening cable is £25 at Apple.com and the power adapters are in three sizes i.e. 29W, 61W and 87W. The cheapest one is of £49 from Apple site.
