Apple launches iPad Air 2 in only 6.1 mm and claiming world thinnest tablet yet. It is readily available in Gold, Space Grey and in Silver color. This device is powered by a custom Apple A8X, which is specially made for the iPad brand line. Its CPU (central Processing Unit) is 40% fast, while the GPU is 2.5x faster than on the A7 chipset. The touch ID fingerprint sensor feature is also available on iPad Air 2. There is no change

on the iPad Air 2 screen but new anti- reflective coating which reduces reflection off  the screen up to 56% according to the Apple. It has 8MP f/2.4 camera and shoots 1080pixel video. The camera can take lapse video 120 frame per second slow –mo –video and has burst mode. There is also a second mic to allow stereo audio recording unlike the iPhone 6.

Apple has also improved the iPad front camera by deploying sensor, also improved the face detection and HDR videos. Wi-Fi is now more speedy with support for 802.11ac, MIMO antennas, rates at up to 866Mbps connection rate. There is no change in the battery life. The iPad Air 2 will start at $499 for the 16GB and the 64GB version will be priced at its price level – $599.
