Adobe Flash Will be Dead by 2020 Once and For All

Adobe has planned to kill the Flash by 2020. Safari, Chrome and the Microsoft Edge have been blocking the access of flash from the past few years and now Adobe has decided to end support for Flash. The company will stop updating the software and distributing it by the end of 2020 and would motivate creators of content to switch their content to other open and new formats, shared by the Adobe spokesperson.

There is hefty amount of education, gaming and video sites which are using the Flash. Adobe will continue supporting the technology along with partners like Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Mozilla and Google as said till 2020. In the mid of late 2019, they’ll disable the Flash in Edge and Internet Explorer. Complete removal from Windows supported versions would happen by 2020.

Hence, the year of 2020 would mark the end of Adobe Flash. HTML 5 standards in all web browsers won’t let the need of Flash anymore. End of Flash will bring betterment in security and laptops battery life too.
