YouTube video comments are not always positive or healthy rather spammy most of the times, especially with the videos having more views. The site has started to take the measures to cut the unwanted spammy comments. Target is to delete those comments which have links, unrelated plugs for numerous sites which must be avoided because the linked websites often contain virus and spammy pages and they install adware or more to the user system.

According to the new video creators settings introduced by YouTube, comments with hashtags and URLs won’t publish automatically rather such comments would be held for review before they actually get approved by the admin. In case, the comments weren’t reviewed, they won’t get published.

New setting is under Community and further moving down to ‘Creator Studio portal’. By activating these settings, older comments won’t get blocked automatically so manual deletion prior to activation might be required.
