In 2008, Google introduced You Tube annotations. Now Google ended this feature of You Tube. Google reported that from 2^nd May You Tube users couldn’t use annotations in their videos.

After 2 May users couldn’t edit previous annotations nor include new ones. However, feature to delete previous annotations is still active. Later than the advent of HTML 5, Google have many reasons to remove annotations.

When annotations became the part of YouTube than almost traffic came from desktop computers but nowadays 60 percent of the traffic come from mobiles, where annotations didn’t work.

Google reported that at a time if users tap one annotation, they deleted twelve.
