The Redmi Note 3 is undoubtedly not the alternate of Note as by Samsung but it amazingly designed to capture the targeted market. It has a premium metal build, and specs that mark the flagship level. Further, it has an industry leading MIUI launcher. Being the third device of the series, it comes with a design upgrade shortly three months after premiere, with the same specs and features but improvement in security with a fingerprint scanner.
Well as far as the upgrades are concerned, these are significantly aggressive- Now Note 3 packs a metal shell, one huge battery, new dual-LED flash, and biometric security. However, you might wonder are these enough to justify the flagship model with one being next generation?
Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is just a one step behind. It launched in August 2015 and was not even fully realized in terms of market selling that Redmi Note 3 got released. It is a very odd product strategy and we have no possible explanation other than the possibility that the two phones will be offered on different markets altogether.
Or either it might be selling as more of a Pro version of Redmi Note 2 (or Prime as Xiaomi calls those) –with a price a bit up with improved usability. The metal shell enhances the aesthetics and handling, the fingerprint scanner unlocks the phone more smartly than a PIN number. Moreover, with dual-LED dual-tone flash may improve the white balance when taking flash photos. Plus a bigger battery can do your chores all day long.
The Redmi Note 3 has a 5.5″ 1080p screen which matches to what has been designed previously, plus it runs on Helio X10 which is hard-core flagship-level performance. In the camera department, the device runs a 13MP camera seems adequately equipped. Most importantly, MIUI 7 comes out of the box and we know it will deliver a smooth and unique experience.
It seems as the Redmi Note 3 is quite in line with Meizu m1 metal, which almost lies in the similar range of upgrades over the Meizu m1 note.
Redmi Note 3 is typical Xiaomi offering, it does not come with memory expansion and removable battery, but this might not surprise anyone. However, the dearth of scratch resistant glass is definitely noticeable. Overall it is much better experimentation for the Redmi Note 3 design-wise but for innards we also need some extra doze.
