China is a market in itself, which is why even the big brands like Xiaomi have taken some time to launch its devices and gadgets outside it. Very recently Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has been launched in India. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is just not the competition of Samsung’s Note but is much lucrative when it comes to budget phablet offering. It is an all-metal Android phablet with an amazing design and fantastic performance. It has both dual-SIM and 4G capability. Other connectivity options include latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an IR blaster, GPS and GLONASS, although there’s no NFC.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a 5.5-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 1920x1080p. The screen is brighter and has more realistic colors. It is an ideal mobile device to enjoy video. Further, it is 8.65mm slim and has a weight of 164 gram. The handset is easily to operate and can be comfortably held in hands with rounded corners. As it has big screen, sometimes you might need both hands for using it but this does not mean it is not manageable with thumb, even it can stretch throughout the screen. At the rear there is fingerprint scanner, camera and flash.

The innards of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 are very decent. It has 2GB RAM that also performed well in the benchmark test. Everything in this phone is pretty fast which is partly due to hardware and partly due to software. Xiaomi features 2GHz MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor with PowerVR Rogue G6200 GPU. The handset carries an internal memory of 16GB of internal storage which is not at all expandable so you might prefer a 32GB version. As far as the battery capacity is concerned, it has whopping potential of 4000mAh non-removable and can be charged over Micro-USB.

Camera-wise, The Redmi Note 3 has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 lens and has a 5MP front facer with f/2.0 lens. The rear also manages the two-tone flash and the imaging also holds various modes and filters. There are also other options like adjust contrast, sharpness and saturation. You can also use the volume button to trigger the shutter. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is driven by Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is best suited to the buyers of smartphones living in developing economies. It gives all the flavors of phablet at a very reasonable price.
