
Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone the Redmi 5 have been leaked by a carrier in China. These details of the Redmi 5 were unveiled by the Twitter-based tipster Roland Quandt and the Chinese publication MyDrivers through GizmoChina.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 will come with an 18:9 touch screen, according to the latest trend of 2017 in the mobile mania. It will have a 5.7-inch HD+ display and powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity.
In term of photography, it will pack a 12MP camera on the rear and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. It looks like that the smartphone uses a microUSB port. The Redmi 5 will house a 3,300mAh battery. The smartphone will become available on 10th December and it is rumored that Redmi 5 will come with a price tag of CNY 1,399 (roughly $211).
