Xiaomi is finally going to launch its new Redmi 5 smartphone as well as the Redmi 5 Plus phone in India in the upcoming Valentine’s Day, i.e. 14^th February. In this regard, the company has already started sending the invitations to the media and has already posted the teasers on social media.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 is the successor phone of previously released Redmi 4. This phone will contain the in-fashion 18:9 aspect ratio display as well as other improved functions including improved cameras and faster processor.

Reports also state that both of these phones have been rebranded as Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Plus for the case of India; however, we do not have any confirmation in this regard. Since it is the phone by Xiaomi, we can expect that its pricing strategy is going to be a bit aggressive.
