Xiaomi has announced back in December that the Mi 7 smartphone will turn up at Mobile World Congress 2018 with a Snapdragon 845, but according to some latest rumors, Xiaomi is adjourning the announcement and bringing the Mi Mix 2S instead of Mi 7.
Anyhow, according to a leaked screenshot of the Mi 7, the smartphone is said to debut in April. The screenshot also reveals some of its specs confirming 8GB of RAM with 128GB internal storage and a massive 4,480mAh battery. Other specifications disclose the already known Snapdragon 845 chipset, a dual rear camera setup (16MP + 16MP) and a 5.6-inches big screen along with Full HD+ resolution.
The screenshot shows off the user interface version will be MIUI 8.1.30x, which means the build is from 30th January, 2018. As Xiaomi has already updated the forty smartphones, including some 5-year old Mi devices to MIUI 9, so it’s futile the Mi 7 will run anything old.
