Twitter’s verified account is an account that has a blue circle with a white tick in it. This sign shows the account belongs to the person organization using it and Twitter has verified this.

Twitter has previously lock the self-verification system and was manually verifying the account itself. That is why in 310 monthly active users only 0.06 has verified accounts.

In general, famous personalities like Journalists, Politicians and Sportspersons has verified account but now Twitter is making it available to everyone.

With the new process those meeting Twitter’s criteria can verify their accounts.

Twitter has introduced the new process which will be rolled out to everyone by the end of this week.
