Z1 was launched earlier this month in India and now the company plans to manufacture the device in the same country. The device will be manufactured in Samsung’s Noida facility in India. The Vice president Marketing confirmed the news. After the launch the prime target market of the company was first-time smartphone users. This Dual-SIMmed smartphone was priced at INR 5,700 which roughly makes $93. The industry sources reveal that the company has sold 50,000-55,000 units since its launch in mid-January. This is an amazing achievement in an immensely competitive market of affordable technology. The device is expected to launch in Bangladesh soon but it is not likely to penetrate the global markets due tolow-end applicability.
