It has been reported by a Korean Newspaper that around 75% of the chipsets will be provided by Samsung in the next generation of iPhone. The remaining 25% will be provided by some unidentified sources in the semiconductor industry. There have been no reports so far on the financial aspects of the deal and also on the names of rest of processor manufacturers but it has become evident that through Reuters that the South Korean company will start manufacturing the chipset in Austin-Texas.Samsung was also the one providing chipset A7 SoC for iPhone 5 in 2013. While the Apple once ditched the South Korean company in favor of Taiwanese brand for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
