The Samsung new OS platform which has recently been to India and Bangladesh with its smart product like Z1 will soon be hitting European stores, according to a report. In India and Bangladesh Tizen has sold up to 100,000 million units and had a very welcoming response.
The launch of Tizen is likely to happen around the introduction of 3.0 version or the Z3 launch. Samsung Z3 has 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED screen and either a Snapdragon 410 or a Spreadtrum SC7730S chipset which will add some sizzle to the Z1’s basic specs of Samsung Z3. Interestingly, there’s a Tizen-based smartwatch in the works too.
Tizen is Samsung’s call to Google that it can find its own direction if it does not like the direction Google is taking around. Tizen has found success in two Asian markets but as far as the Europe is concerned even the Windows Phone managed to get 3rd place very painfully, so we still wonder if there is someone to take fourth place.
