Very recently Jonathan Lin, General Manager Sony Mobile in Taiwan has officially made a statement that has confirmed that Sony is not in the urge of selling its mobile division even if it is not profitable. This claim is also backed by Hiroki Totoki, who also strongly dismissed analyst allegations.
Mr. Lin confirmed that company will focus on its energies to improve its products to make business to flourish. The new opened unit in Thailand will also affect the output and is likely to give considerable help in these efforts.
The Sony’s Xperia Z5 Premium flagship will soon launch in Taiwan within a month. The price of the handset is likely to be priced around $500 SIM-Free. Sony Mobile’s is optimistic and is coining to capture 30% of the high-end Android smartphone market in the country.
