Sony’s Gaming President and CEO, Andrew House, has made an announcement that the company is working on 4K Play Station. She revealed this plan while talking to Financial Times. As per rumors, this Play Station will be dubbed PS 4K or Play Station 4.5. A report in March also unveiled that the Play Station is codenamed NEO. This could also be the official name of Play Station. Andrew has also confirmed the rumors regarding the new console by the company.
The new Play Station can run Ultra HD resolution games and can handle more powerful graphics. This will be sold with regular PS4. Moreover, it will be expensive than a regular PS4. All the new and old games, including the VR games will be supported by the new version of console.
Sadly, this console will not be introduced on the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo), to be held from June 14 till June 16. Rumor has it that Microsoft is also working on the X Box One’s new and more powerful version.
