Intel is the top chip manufacturer since 1993 but now world is changing. IC insights which is the top US semiconductor market research firm speculated that Samsung might be the top chip manufacturer in the coming days.

Samsung will now be the ‘world’s top chipmaker’ after Intel.

Intel would be selling chips for $14.4 billion but Samsung will get $14.6 from their sales. If all goes well then this would be great achievement for Samsung. If this happens then Intel will end their kingdom after 24 years in chip manufactures area.

Samsung availed this position due to its increased sales of memory chips. The research firm also predicted that if the Samsung chips price down not fall then it will definitely beat Intel in the whole year of semiconductors sale.
