The next big challenge for Samsung is to supply the whopping 15 million S6 and 5 million S6 Edge as ordered by various carriers. The number it is a surprise for the Samsung which is now earnestly working to catch the bait. Korean Publications report that initially Samsung planned to manufacture total of 12 million units in which 8 million belonged to Galaxy S6 and the remaining four million rest with S6 Edge. The number was then increased to 13 million. Out of which 4 million Samsung Galaxy S6 will enter assembly line this month along with 1 million Galaxy S6 Edge. Those will be added to the April production making total of 13 million.
This might mean that carriers will face delays in the launch of both S6 and S6 Edge. And probably Galaxy S6 Edge will be very limited in number at the time of launch.
