It isn’t so long that we heard Moto X Play hitting US stores anytime soon. This was even rumored to be headed to Verizon while rebranded as the Droid Maxx 2.Here are some live pictures of the smartphone revealed. The design is quite identical to Moto X Play. The difference will only be the Verizon Droid branding on the back —– but that is only for this particular carrier.
It has 5.5-inch display with 1080p screen. It runs on a Snapdragon 615 SoC with an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 1.65 GHz. The rest of the specs include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Camera-wise, it has a 21 MP rear camera. Droid Maxx 2 is powered by whooping 3,630mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
With the leaks coming in, we are sure that the official announcement is not very far off. It also expected that Droid Turbo 2 will also be included in the Verizon portfolio, however, there is no major info on this yet.
