Micromax Informatics has launched its new budgeted tablet named as Canvas Plex Tab. The Micromax Canvas Plex Tab has launched with a one-year free subscription of Eros Now. The Canvas Plex is aimed at the consumers who are fond of watching movies and videos on their tabs. The highlight feature of tab is its support for DTS sound technology. The tablet comes with the price tag of INR 12,999 and it will go on sale from Friday, September 1 via offline retail stores.

The latest Micromax Canvas Plex Tab has a single SIM card slot along with 4G Voice over LTE technology. The tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT8382W/M SoC with 3GB of RAM. It comes with an 8-inch WSVGA IPS display (1024×600 pixels). The Micromax Canvas Plex Tab comes with a 5MP rear camera along with an LED flash, and on the front side it has a 2MP camera.
