The Micromax has launched the latest smartphone named as Micromax Canvas 1. The smartphone is launched with the price tag of Rs. 6,999. The device Canvas 1 is 4G VoLTE compliant and Android Nougat out of the box. The smartphone will be contending against the smartphones Moto E4 and Xiaomi Redmi 4.

Micromax Canvas 1: The Rare Budget Smartphone is Launched in India

The Canvas 1 smartphone will be available for purchase in India via e-commerce platforms as well as via conventional brick and mortar retail stores. The company is also offering with Micromax Canvas 1 a 100 days replacement offer. According to the company, the smartphone will be replaceable with no questioning and arguments if any type of issue will arise in the device. The smartphone is available in Matte Black and Chrome Black two color variants in India.

The Micromax Canvas 1 has a sleek unibody design with slim bezels on the edges and front comes with the display, the selfie camera module and the earpiece grille. The fingerprint scanner is not present. Instead of that it has a touch enabled menu buttons. On the back side of the smartphone there is a horizontal camera setup with LED flash and under that camera the logo of Micromax.

The Micromax Canvas 1 has a 5 inch HD display (720p) covered by Corning Gorilla 2.5D glass protection. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core chipset MediaTek MT6737 at the speed of1.3 GHz. The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 32GB. As mentioned before the Micromax Canvas 1 runs Android Nougat OS.

In terms of optics, it has 8MP camera with dual tone LED flash and front selfie camera of 5MP with a front flash for selfies. On the connectivity board, Micromax Canvas 1 has dual-SIM setup, USB 2.0 port, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth,3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi and GPS. The smartphone runs on a 2,500mAh battery. According to the Micromax, the battery provides 7 hours talk-time and 180 hours standby time.
