
Micromax, the domestic mobile phone maker, has launched a 4G VoLTEenabled mobile phone dubbed ‘Bharat 1’ at INR 2,200. The Micromax has declared its partnership with the government owned telecom operator BSNL. With the launch of Bharat 1,Micromax and BSNL are trying to give a 4GVoLTE enabled phone to India’s 500 million peoples that don’t have access to the Internet. The cooperation will acknowledge the customers to enjoy low cost data and get internet services and unlimited call at INR 97 per month.
The co-founder Micromax Rahul Sharma said in a statement, that both BSNL and Micromax have been working together with an ambition to bring the next influx of unconnected users on the Internet. Now we will take this view forward with Bharat 1 and build a fascinating hypothesis for the users that is a first in the category.
The Bharat 1 mobile phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon’s 205 mobile platform. The phone comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage memory and it houses a 2000mAh battery. The phone has a 2.4 inch QVGA display and 2MP back camera along with VGA selfie camera. It will support 22 languages and start selling from 20thOctober.
