The domestic smartphone manufacturer Micromax Informatics has sold two million of its Bharat 2 smartphones till August-end. In the meantime, Micromax has mentioned in a statement that the company is also engaged in extending its Bharat Series with three new Micromax smartphones dubbed as Bharat 2 plus, Bharat 3 and Bharat 4.

Furthermore, the company added in a statement that these new Micromax mobiles will be available via offline retail stores till the end of September. The ‘Bharat Series’ consist of Google-certified smartphones in the economic classification.  The major aim of Bharat series is the procurement of first generation mobile phone users in the country. This series was launched by the Micromax back in April 2017.

The co-founder of Micromax Informatics Rahul Sharma said that “There are more than 400 million feature mobile phone users, who are waiting to shift to the smartphones that give them the experience without stretching their budgets.”
