LG’s next flagship smartphone will be called G7

  MPC Team

Earlier this year, we reported that LG has made some plans to rename its flagship brand series. So, it was understood that upcoming LG G7 would be named as something else other than this. This phone is already expected to be available for sale from April this year, and it is regarded as the first of the two flagship phones of the company to be released this year.

However, the plans once again appear to have changed. The UK website of LG has listed the flagship phone named as G7. This is mentioned in the bottom of the page where the items such as fast charging and Qualcomm Quick Charge options are described.

Surely, we can clearly see ‘Future LG G7’ below Quick Charge 4.0, where as G6 and G5 are also mentioned to have been shipped with Quick Charge 3.0. So, this can be considered as the final confirmation that LG has reversed its decision to not change the name of its flagship series. At least this does sound clear from the UK webpage of the brand. Whatever is the case, let’s hope that G7 is a high quality smartphone that further nourishes the brand image of LG.
