LG might Ditch ‘G’ Series Branding for its Flagship Smartphones

According to the recent reports, LG Electronics has planning to rebrand its flagship ‘G’ series of smartphones with a new naming scheme, so, which means that there will be no LG G7 in year 2018. The smartphone title might be recouped with a two digit number, among other options that the LG is yet to declare.

The South Korean tech giant LG is looking to remodel its flagship series with a new rebranding decision. Conferring to a report by The Investor, LG is adapting a new brand strategy for the ‘G’ series in the first half of the year 2018. Some options available in this plan are numbering the smartphone with a two digit number and rebranding it with a new title. An LG official was copied as saying this to a South Korean tech news publication ‘Digital Daily’. However, currently there is no approval on what the amended naming scheme would be.
