The newly released iPhone X is the first-ever device by Apple that will come with the TrueDepth front-facing camera thereby enabling the functioning of Face ID. This is the latest facial recognition unlocking mechanism. As it seems, the new smartphone will not be the only one to have Face ID, as it has been confirmed that the upcoming iPad Pro lineup would also have the same Face ID integrated function.
This was confirmed by the KGI Securities representative that Apple might add the TrueDepth camera as well as Face ID feature in the next iPad Pro lineup. This will definitely help boost Apple’s premium tablets’ competitiveness. However, one must not expect the Face ID to come with the non-Pro iPads. On the other hand, it has also been revealed that all iPhones from 2018 onwards will definitely have the Face ID feature intact.
The new lineup of iPad Pro is about to arrive in the first or second quarter of 2018, as this year’s iPad Pro also was released in June this year. So, expect a wham, dam, and thank you ma’m sort of applause for upcoming Pro tablets.
