The next generation of retired Ascend brand has been leaked with a letter-digit combination. The successor of the previous flagship Ascend p7 will be dubbed as P8. What will be inside the device is revealed ahead. P8 will pack 5.2-inch display of 1080p resolution and runs on in-house Kirin 930 64-bit chipset with 3GB of RAM. On-board storage capacity isn’t revealed yet. In imaging department, the main camera weighs 13MP with optical stabilization. The device will be powered by 2600mAh battery which is quite a concern, however, the CEO has addressed that the battery efficiency will be optimal. The device will be updated to latest Android Lollipop upon Launch. It is expected that the official announcement of P8 will take place in 2^nd Quarter of 2015.
