There has been much speculation regarding the Honor 5C right after its honor 5X launch at MWC Barcelona and also the recent launch of Huawei flagship devices P9 and P9 Plus. The device has been subject to little rumors and leaks but all of a sudden its major spec has been outed via TENNA.
TENNA the Chinese Regulatory Authority Body has again given a listing that unveils major specs of Honor 5C. The device is likely to release on 28th of April 2016.
The honor 5C will come with 5.2-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920. It will run on a Kirin 650 64-bit octa-core processor along with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of ROM expandable via microSD. It is powered by 2900mAh battery. In camera department, it has a 13MP rear unit camera and an 8-megapixel front facer for selfies.
The listing also suggest a stronger version which is likely to have the same processor, but with double storage 32 GB and a total of 3GB RAM. The device will boot Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Emotion UI on top.
There is no word on pricing by the company but as it’s a mid-ranger, it is expected to be pretty affordable. Last year with “one step down” specs, its predecessor was $130.
