As close as the date of launch of Huawei next phablet is getting, we are being jolted with little shakes of specs and features from everywhere. The new phablet is like to be dubbed Mate 7S, as the recent teaser show the S moniker. However, it might be called Mate S alone.
Recently the device has visited AnTuTu benchmark which has confirmed few specs and features that phablet is likely to come with. Huawei Mate 7S is likely to carry a 5.7-inch 1080p touchscreen. This phablet will run on a home-grown HiSilicon Kirin 935 chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.1 GHz and the Mali-T628MP4 GPU. Further it has a 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. At the time it was tested, the smartphone ran Android 5.0 Lollipop.
It will have a 20MP rear camera and 8MP front facer. The main camera is sometimes rumored to be 13MP and the display is QHD. In AnTuTu benchmark, the overall score it achieved was 46,776, which isn’t bad but isn’t stellar either. However, in the GPU compartment things aren’t looking good at all, with the 3D performance score being just 11,946.
