Well rumor has it, but this time Huawei has made Mate 9 finally official. The company has outed its Mate 9 Pro model in China along with standard version. Both models will be released this week while the Porsche Design Mate 9 will likely to launch in mid-December.

Huawei makes Mate 9 Pro Official.

The Pro version is not as big as in screen size. It comes with 5.5-inch dual edge curved display that has crispier Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. The fingerprint scanner of the Pro model comes embedded in Home Button unlike the regular Mate 9 where it is placed at the rear.

The other specs include powerful Kirin 960 chipset, dual-camera setup and 4000mAh battery to give life to the handset. It is also slightly costlier than standard version.

As per Huawei, Mate 9 with 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM will set you back for $685 or $775 6GB/ 128GB memory configuration. Sadly, there is no heftier version like 6GB RAM and 256GB ROM version of Mate 9 Pro, which was rumored to sell for $835 outright.

However, the availability of Pro version is not confirmed for other regions. So it might be China who will enjoy this privilege so far.
