Android Nougat does forget your inconvenience while dealing with spammy calls. The block feature not only blocks the number for calls, but for other apps too. So if you want to enable the number for the app too, you have to do it separately, via app settings.

Firstly, you need Google Dialer installed in your Phone, or install it at earliest. It has the easiest system to block or add number to the list. Nougat will give you whatever, it can to make this procedure user friendly.

1. Firstly, install the Google Dialer app.
2. Then select the menu tab which is at the top of app
3. Now select call blocking.
4. Now add a number to the bar.
5. You have now a number in your spam bar, feel free to remove it anytime.

The second criteria is, go to recent call list and select the number and tap “Block/Report Spam”. However, this will not block your number for other apps. If you further report this number to Google, it will better work for other places where spamming is required.
