Haier has been planning to start assembling phone and its production line in Pakistan due to over-saturated market in early 2016.

In order to dominate, Haier is emphasizing the need of production unit to increase its operational capacity. Haier is planning to expand portfolio via more production in various dimension in the country.

Haier will soon start its assembly line in Pakistan.

Initially it was manufacturing Laptops. Later it went into talks with government to start producing mobile phones. And now very soon or probably next year it will be operational.

The plant will have a capacity to assemble 1.5 million devices on an annual basis. Haier initially started off with 7 products which have now expanded to 27 products, and they will be able to diversify it to 35 by 2016. With these initiative, it is also shrinking the distances from where the devices can be purchased or delivered. Haier Mobiles is currently running a network of 18,000 distributors, plus there are 29 customer care centers where theft and accidental insurance for all its products is possible, which will undoubtedly satisfy consumers.
