Haier is offering the premium yet affordable consumer electronics in Pakistan. In the race of smartphones, it has applied the same strategy while selling premium design products with exceptional affordability. Haier Mobile has so far inventively capture the Pakistani market which has made it quite a lucrative smartphone brand among Pakistani users.
Previously, the brand was only imported from Haier production facility abroad but now a smartphone manufacturing agenda has been placed forward by company officials in front of Government to possibly manufacture Haier mobiles locally.
The first flagship model revealed by Haier is Haier Esteem i70 which was advertised massively to create much fanfare among the Pakistani users of Haier CE. It has both sparkling innards and hardware that adds value to its overall performance. Design-wise the phone packs a 5.0 Inches screen with the resolution of 1280 x 720 Pixels. Further, it has an ISP display which mean more sharp and clear visibility. However, the smartphone is as thick as 7.95mm which is definitely not the slimmest and creates more room for working on design approach in flagship models.
As far as the innards are concerned they are also a bit outdated but yet very suitable for the price being asked by the retailers for Haier Esteem i70. Esteem i70 is running on 1.4GHz Octa-Core MediaTek processor at the helm, accompanying a modest 1GB of RAM Mobile. Furthermore, there is not much to describe for the hardware but unfortunately there is no GPU, therefore, running high-end games and apps is entirely impossible. Also the 1GB RAM is insufficient. This is a significant concern as more than 50% of the RAM capacity was been consumed by the default Android OS and built-in apps installed out of the box.
In terms of camera, the device offers a bit high-end model which matches to customer expectation. The rear unit goes for 13MP primary unit with autofocus and LED- flash. The secondary or the front facer has the 5MP unit. It can be used for both clicking selfies and video calling on the board.
Battery and storage-wise, the device offers a powerful 2300mAh battery which a bit advanced consider the phone a mid-tier, also, the storage is 16GB along with expandable card of 32GB for the hefty data being held by customer. It supports 3G network and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Esteem i70 is definitely not a whopping product but it offers consistent hardware and innards that offer a smooth running which could persuade prospective customers to but the product.
