Facebook has introduced PayPal Transaction support in Messenger. Now users can select PayPal in Messenger transaction. Before that payments can only be made via Debit card.

Facebook is also working on the feature where Messenger might give you notification on PayPal transactions.

Facebook is consistently converging Messenger into Business platform. Sending and receiving Payment is a small part of it.

This feature is currently launched in America. Facebook has made no announcement for introducing it in other countries and regions.
