BlackBerry Neon is again making rounds online. But this time official renders are spreading the news. The specs are finally out and possible date has been given alongside. The device will be made official on 20th August. Neon’s real name is still not unveiled and it could be the same one.
Neon, which will allegedly come out to be the re-branded version of Alcatel Idol 4 as leaks for both are found to have same specs. The Neon will come with 5.2-inch display with pixel resolution 1080 x 1920. The device will run on a Snapdragon 617 SoC with an octa-core 1.7GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. The Neon comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The rear camera is 13MP camera with an 8MP of front-facer to capture selfies and handle video chats.
The Neon comes powered with 2610mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 on board, which certain appears to be fast. The BlackBerry is likely to be priced at $375 USD, with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed.
