BlackBerry was rumored to collaborate with TCL to rebrand a handset from Alcatel Line of smartphones. Previously, it was also rumored that Alcatel Idol 4 will be the next BlackBerry Hamburg. The device is likely to be officially known as NEON.

This rumors get credible when the innards and externals of the both handsets seems almost the same. Most importantly, the specs revealed at GFXBench benchmark test were indeed largely identical to those of the Alcatel Idol 4. Moreover, the 4s version of Alcatel Idol is rebranded as the Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 in UK.

There is little to doubt the evidence that the two handsets could be the same. However, the new handset will be known as NEON or something else is still a mystery to resolve. As the unveiling nears, more rumors will surface to confirm the news.
