Nokia 6, which was released about six months ago, and which came with Android 7.0 Nougat, has now started getting beta testing for Android 8.0 Oreo. This was done earlier for Nokia 5, and now it is the turn for Nokia 6.

HMD Global had already hinted towards rolling out Oreo update for all Android-powered Nokia smartphones in December. Hence, it is the time for Nokia 6 in that respect.

In order to get it, you will need to sign up for the Beta labs, as it is not publicly available at the moment. Such a thing will actually help HMD Global squashing out any sort of bugs that exist in it before the software is officially rolled out for all Nokia 6 units around the world. However, only tech-savvy people are likely to sign up for this Beta version of Android 8.0 Oreo. Moreover, these people are not likely to be afraid of any sort of occasional issues in it.
