AT&T-branded BlackBerry now with $200 Price slash.

The past few years for BlackBerry were very tough. The demand for BlackBerry OS witnessed decline, due to which the handsets division suffered lower sales and negative revenues. Previous year BB switched to Android in September and launched PRIV with enhanced security via Android OS. The Android did prove helpful in coming back into the business but again it did not meet the sales expectation. Recently the CEO of the company announced, a price cut of $ 50.

However, it seems that AT&T is in a more hurry to see progress. It has introduced AT&T branded BlackBerry PRIV at $450 with the price slash of $200, which is significant. John Chen (CEO) even admitted that the previous price was too uncompetitive to buy. But the analyst are of the view that even the $50 price slash cannot generate an impact.

However, now the AT&T new offer is a serious effort to make the handset more saleable. Let see how it poses in to be BB Customer’s mind now.
